The college is about 1.5 K.M. away from the sub divisional town of Khatra and located beside the Khatra-Simlapal highway at bus stopez Panpra Bridge More. It under the Chandania Mouja of the Khatra 1 No Gram Panchayet JL No-196, Khatian No-299, Plot No- 07,14,52,56,57,65,77and 79 of total land 1.01 acres. Address newly named Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Road, Papra Bridge More [Canal Gate], Khatra, Bankura, Pin- 722140, West Bengal, India by us. Since inception of the Institution the College authority has been able to enhance the infrastructure as per NCTE norms in order to accommodate increasing number of students. With the gradual extension of infrastructural capacity new course be implemented near future. Our Teacher Education Programme seeks to develop a sense of commitment and service, integrating teaching and learning process with an aim to impart knowledge and skills for the professional growth of the self and the community at large. We have committed ourselves to promote value-oriented education, contributing to the unity and integrity of the society by implementing innovative strategies, ensuring effectiveness of the programme. Our institution dedicates itself to produce quality teachers who will be the architects of our Nations. Jangal Mahal Teachers' Training Institute is Recognized by NCTE, MHRD, Government of India & Affiliated to University of Burdwan and West-Bengal Board of Primary Education. The institute offers education in the field of Teacher’s Training. The Institute offers Bachelor of education course(B.Ed) and Primary Teacher Training Course, Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed).

We are bound to provide quality teachers training for trainee teachers, with total commitment on the part of all constituents of the college. So in our college a teacher is not only a teacher but he is also a friend, philosopher and guide.
The college seeks to upload and promote total educational, intellectual, cultural atmosphere not only within the students but also within the local people. We have already introduced two years B.ED & D.El.Ed Courses.
